National Small Business Week ~ Honoring Entrepreneurs, and a Local Business ~ Casa Cruz Restaurant  - In 1963 President John F. Kennedy signed, proclaimed, honored our entrepreneurs claiming National Small Business Week - we are in the midst of that week.  Today 2 out of 3 jobs are created by a small business, and more than half of the Nations Americans work for a small business. The Small Business Administration thinks a bit differently then I do on what constitutes a small business: 500-1500 employees at an independently owned operated manufacturing facility is a small business to SBA.gov, that doesn't necessarily come to my mind.  My business comes to my mind.  Local businesses such as:  Pass Auto, Lithopass Printing, Face and Body by Heather, Casa Cruz Restaurant ~ these local entrepreneurs come to my mind.

This week as you go out and about on your daily errands, as you battle our winds that I will once again call Mariah, take the opportunity to thank your local business, and once again support them.  Perhaps let them know what you do like about their business, and what ~ in a kind and loving way ~ you do not like, so that they can take it into consideration if improvements should be made ~ so that they can stay in business, so that they will be here next year. We work for the good of the whole.

Now, why did I chose Casa Cruz Restaurant as the business to profile for the National Small Business Week?  No, not because they became my latest client, but because I have seen them renovate the restaurant, go through the process of patiently attaining a liquor license through the ABC board, the State, their tenacity.  Cuisine, is excellent ~ yes I know we  have many restaurants of that cuisine in the area, so one needs to have uniqueness ~ Casa Cruz Restaurant offers excellent food and uniqueness, I personally like the outside seating that should be available by the summertime.  

This week National Small Business Week, go say hello to your local eatery, as the Mariah winds die down sit outside at Victor's, and have a refreshing cocktail, at Frugo's have a dessert.  Go enjoy our neighborhood ~ go, and increase our business economy, and once again thank you for reading my Blog ~ laura.
