Little Change to Banning Gas Prices as Weekend Arrives
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Friday, but average prices stayed near $3.

BANNING, CA - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped two-tenths of a cent Friday to $3.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is six-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, but 2.3 cents more than one month ago and 19.8 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
"Domestic oil production has increased this year to counteract cuts in oil output from OPEC countries, and local refineries so far have not experienced major incidents affecting gasoline production," said Jeffrey Spring, the Automobile Club of Southern California's corporate communications manager.
