LIVE RESULTS: Challenger Takes Early Lead Against Incumbent in RivCo D.A.'s Race

Riverside County District Attorney Paul Zellerbach was behind in early returns in the D.A.'s race, trailing veteran homicide prosecutor Mike Hestrin by more than 8 percentage points.

With 103,000 ballots tabulated and 22 percent of precincts reporting, Hestrin held 54.17 percent of votes to Zellerbach's 45.83 percent, according to the Registrar of Voters' website.
