Major Injuries Reported In Calimesa Area Crash

CALIMESA, CA - One person suffered major injuries Monday when a Ford Focus struck a utility pole in an unincorporated area near Calimesa, authorities said.

It happened about 2 a.m. on San Timoteo Canyon Road at Redlands Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

One person was taken to a hospital, the CHP said.

Southern California Edison was contacted to check the pole for damage, the CHP said.
