Police: Man Shot to Death in Beaumont, Murder Investigation Underway
Police say the man was found in an alleyway, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Beaumont police are searching for any possible witnesses to a deadly shooting that left a man dead in Beaumont.
According to Beaumont Police Commander Sean Thuilliez, the agency responded to a report of shots fired around 10:46 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Grace Avenue, near 4th Street.

“When they arrived, they found a man laying in an alleyway suffering from gunshot wounds,” Thuilliez said. “Paramedics from Cal-Fire and AMR responded and the victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 11:26 a.m.”
The man’s identity is yet to be released.

Suspect description information was not immediately available.
This death marks the first murder in Beaumont in more than two years. The last time a homicide happened was in February 2013, when a woman killed her roommate.
