Man Killed, Woman, Child Injured In Attack Inside Gated Community Near Corona
Sheriff's deputies are calling the early morning crimes "domestic assault," but no arrests yet reported.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA – A man was killed and a woman and child were injured today during an attack in a gated community just south of Corona.
The victims were targeted shortly before 3 a.m. in the 8400 block of Renwick Drive, in a Glen Ivy enclave known as The Retreat, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
"We're calling this a domestic assault," sheriff's Deputy Mike Vasquez told City News Service. "We are looking for somebody, but we're not releasing any details on that person yet."

According to Vasquez, deputies were called to the location to investigate reports of an assault and discovered the victims in a residence.
The male adult, whose identity was not immediately released, reportedly had been stabbed and was taken to a Riverside-area hospital, where he died.

The woman and child, whose identities also were not disclosed, were taken to a trauma center for treatment of unspecified wounds.
"The woman is in critical condition," Vasquez said. "The child is expected to survive."
