Mobile Butane Honey-Oil Lab: Suspect Cuffed In Beaumont
Police report the man was operating the lab from his car and was driving with several pounds of marijuana in an ice chest.

BEAUMONT, CA – A man suspected of operating a butane honey-oil lab from his car was arrested this week after being stopped in Beaumont by police, according to authorities.
Beaumont Police Department officers at about 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday conducted a vehicle check at 9th Street and Maple Avenue in Beaumont of a driver found to have a misdemeanor warrant as well as several pounds of marijuana inside an ice chest, the agency said.
After obtaining a search warrant, officers determined the subject was operating a butane honey-oil lab out of his vehicle and was arrested on the warrant, pending further charges, police said.

The department did not release additional information on the suspect.
Butane honey oil, or hash oil, is a product containing highly potent concentrates that can be extracted from marijuana plants. Butane hash-labs are often associated with explosions that cause significant structural damage and serious injuries. More information here.
