Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Auditions: 'And Then There Were None'

The Pass Area Performing Artists are hosting auditions for adults at 7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday at Banning Woman's Club, 175 W. Hays St.

Auditions are scheduled this week in Banning for a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater presentation of Agatha Christie's play "And Then There Were None."

The Pass Area Performing Artists is hosting auditions for adults at 7 p.m. Monday Jan. 2, and 7 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 4 at Banning Woman's Club, 175 W. Hays St.

The play is being directed by Donnell Powell.

There are more than a dozen characters:

- Anthony James "Tony" Marston - a rich, spoiled, good-looking man

- Mrs. Ethel Rogers - the cook and Mr. Rogers's wife who is very scared of something

- General John Gordon Macarthur - a retired World War I hero

- Thomas Rogers - the butler and Mrs. Rogers's domineering husband

- Emily Caroline Brent - a rigid and repressed elderly woman of harsh moralistic principles

- Dr. Edward George Armstrong - a doctor, blamed for the death of a patient he treated while drunk

- William Henry Blore - a retired police inspector and now a private investigator

- Philip Lombard - a soldier of fortune

- Vera Elizabeth Claythorne - a young teacher, secretary, and ex-governess

- Justice Lawrence John Wargrave - a retired judge

- Sir Thomas Legge and Inspector Maine - two detectives

- Isaac Morris - a man for hire

- Fred Narracott - the boatman who delivered the guests to the island

Performances are scheduled Feb. 17-19 and Feb. 24-26.
