BEAUMONT, CA — Pass Area drivers may notice a new billboard around the region, but this one's not for a traditional business. The Beaumont Library is expanding its outreach efforts and recently placed a new “Growing with you … Beaumont Library!” sign along the eastbound side of Interstate 10, just east of Pennsylvania Avenue.
The billboard offers a glimpse of the proposed changes to the local library. Plans call for asking voters in November 2019 to approve a construction bond to preserve the historic Carnegie building and expand the library to meet the growing needs of the Beaumont-Cherry Valley community.
