Our Regional Salvation Army Empty Bowl Event ~ The 3rd Annual Appreciation Luncheon June 4, 2014
Our Regional Salvation Army Empty Bowl Event ~ The 3rd Annual Appreciation Luncheon has been scheduled for June 4th by the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army ~ their 3rd Annual Appreciation & Empty Bowl Luncheon honors volunteers, community partners & major donors, this year it will be on Wednesday - June 4, 2014. The ~ Empty Bowl ~ is a work of art ~ they are "art bowls decorated by local prominent artists and homeless student artists"; 100% of the funds will go to The Salvation Army for homeless prevention. The Moreno Valley Cultural Arts Foundation will facilitate the auction.
Are you aware that our Salvation Army is based in Moreno Valley, 14068 Graham Street - and that this office covers the territory, region from Morongo - Banning - Beaumont - through the Badlands into Moreno Valley. Captain Julius Murphy is our regions Captain and is very personable. The Empty Bowl Luncheon on June 4th gives you an opportunity to meet with Captain Murphy, and address any questions you may have regarding The Salvation Army. Since The Salvation Army includes territory - Morongo - Banning - Beaumont this would be a great time to say hello, and perhaps ask him what ideas he has for our community. It is great having The Salvation Army headquartered in our own backyard, and to see their work immediate, in our own backyard.
The ~ 3rd Annual Appreciation & Empty Bowl Luncheon ~ is going to be a great opportunity to purchase a unique work of art, and at the same time this is an opportunity to help a worthy charity.
