A second man inside the nearby Desert Hot Springs home was arrested, as well, on warrants and other charges.

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA – Police Friday released the name of a parolee who barricaded himself for about two hours inside a Desert Hot Springs home after police responded to a domestic violence call.

Danilo Flores, 34, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of making criminal threats, assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, being a felon in possession of ammunition and possession of stolen property.

Officers were sent at 1:22 p.m. Thursday to the home in the 66200 block of Cahuilla Avenue, said Sgt. Corinn Lindsey. Flores locked himself inside, prompting police to bring in canine units and block off Cactus Drive from Desert View to Buena Vista avenues.
