Beaumont Heat Advisory To Last Through Wednesday
The National Weather Service is reporting the heat wave will be short-lived.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Beaumont and most of western Riverside County that began at 10 a.m. Tuesday and is expected to last through 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Daytime high temperatures in Beaumont were expected to hover around the mid-90s, with the mercury dipping to the mid-60s overnight.
More seasonal, early fall weather is expected to resume Thursday, with highs around 90 and overnight temperatures in the low to mid-60s.

During a heat advisory, the NWS said residents should drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the midday sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.
"Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When possible reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1," the NWS said.
