Thousands turned out Wednesday at Stuart Park to enjoy the music of pop rocker Rick Springfield, known for his #1 hit "Jessie's Girl" in 1981 and for his acting on the soap opera "General Hospital."

Springfield's show was the final act of this year's free in Beaumont. Previous shows this summer featured Three Dog Night and the Basix on July 4, the Bangles on July 13, the Commodores on July 20, and Kansas on July 27.
