PHOTOS: Commodores 'Sanctified' in Beaumont, Est. Thousands Turn Out
Original members of the '70s and '80s funk and ballad hitmakers had hundreds of Beaumont residents and visitors on their feet at sundown Wednesday in Stewart Park.
The Commodores opened their Beaumont concert at sundown Wednesday with their 1974 funk hit "Feel Sanctified."
Estimated thousands of people in Stewart Park stood to wave, shake and dance their approval.
The band, which included original members, kept the time-machine cranked up with their 1977 ballad "Easy."
