Pickup Rolls Over On 60 Freeway In Moreno Valley

The CHP said a Ford Ranger and a Toyota Tacoma crashed in the fast lane, causing the Ranger to overturn.

MORENO VALLEY, CA - A pickup truck rolled over on the Moreno Valley (60) Freeway Thursday in a collision with another pickup, but no injuries were reported.

It happened about 1 p.m. on the eastbound 60, just west of Heacock Street, in Moreno Valley, the California Highway Patrol said.

The agency said a Ford Ranger and a Toyota Tacoma crashed in the fast lane, causing the Ranger to overturn, coming to rest on its side.

The driver was able to get out of the vehicle by the time CHP officers arrived. He declined medical treatment.

The occupants of the other pickup were not hurt, according to reports from the scene.

Officers shut down the fast lane and carpool lane for about 40 minutes while the wreckage was removed.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
