Pregnant SoCal Model Is About to Have Baby, And People Can't Stop Talking About Her Tiny Belly

A Southern California model has the Internet ablaze this week, as photos circulate of her toned physique.

30-year-old Sarah Stage has risen to quick internet stardom not just for being a model-- but for being a model with a set of abs that have gone viral.

The model, who has posted several photos to her Instagram account with 1.3 million followers, is 34 weeks pregnant. Along with a selfie Stage shared five days ago at “officially 8 1/2 months” pregnant, she posted a caption saying her baby boy weighed an estimated five pounds.

Now, many women are praising the model for her efforts to stay fit while pregnant.

“I think she looks amazing and I only wish I would have taken better care of myself before and during pregnancy that way I would [not] have to struggle so hard now to get it under control,” one person wrote on Stage’s Instagram account, which has tens of thousands of comments at this point.

But along with a lot of admiration on social media, Stage is getting criticism sent her way.

“...Are you kidding me,” one person writes on a photo the model shared. “You are stupid to think it is okay to be this small and trust me I would know.”

As a pregnant woman writing this piece with a belly that’s already the size of a basketball at six months along, it’s amazing to see how different women’s bodies can appear so differently while carrying a child.
