The White House is making preparations for President Barack Obama to visit the Coachella Valley next weekend, it was reported tonight.
The Desert Sun newspaper reported the White House was “quietly alerting” those who needed to know that Obama was planning to spend the weekend of June 20-21 in the Coachella Valley.

Obama will be in Beverly Hills next Thursday for a Democratic National Committee fundraiser at the home of filmmaker Tyler Perry.
There has been no response from the White House to requests for more information about Obama’s plans for the weekend, according to The Desert Sun.
