Sausage & Beer Fest This Weekend at Highland Springs Resort in Cherry Valley
The event features locally brewed and German beers, European sausages and authentic, German-inspired dishes, organizers said. There will also be family games, activities, and traditional festival music. Admission is free.
The 2nd Annual Sausage & Beer Festival is scheduled Saturday, Aug. 20 and Sunday, Aug. 21 at Highland Springs Resort in Cherry Valley.
The event features locally brewed and German beers, European sausages and authentic, German-inspired dishes, organizers said.
The biergarten will serve Köstritzer, made by one of the oldest producers of schwarzbier in Germany, as well as beers from Hangar 24 Craft Brewery in Redlands, Stone Brewing Co. of North County San Diego, and the Inland Empire Brewing Company of Riverside, according to organizers.

There will also be family games, activities, and traditional festival music.
The event is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, and the Grand Oak Steakhouse will open each evening, organizers said.

Admission to the festival is free. No outside food or drink is permitted.
