1 Dead In Banning Shooting

Police have not confirmed whether any arrest has been made in the case or if the deadly shooting is believed to be gang-related.

BANNING, CA — Gunfire in Banning left one person dead, police announced Tuesday. The fatal shooting in the 400 block of W. Wilson Street was reported shortly before 9 p.m. Friday.

When officers arrived on scene, they found several young adults trying to help the shooting victim, the Banning Police Department reported.

The victim, who is only being identified by police as male, died at the scene.

According to police, the shooter was on a bicycle, but no further suspect description was provided.
