Silver Alert: Have You Seen Jacob Garcia?

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A Silver Alert was issued Friday for an 86-year-old man who was reported missing in the Cherry Valley area of Riverside.

Jacob Garcia was last seen Thursday at 11 a.m. at High Street and Jonathan Avenue in Cherry Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Garcia is Latino, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds.

He has gray hair and blue eyes, and was last seen driving a 1990 white GMC Sierra with a license plate number 11888D2, authorities said.

Anyone who has seen Garcia or knows of his whereabouts was asked to call 911.

The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled, or cognitively impaired individuals.
