State to Open New Veterans Resource Center in Beaumont
There are only 33 such resource centers in California.
BEAUMONT, CA- U.S. military veterans who live in the San Gorgonio Pass will have a new place to apply or verify benefits next week.
The California Department of Veterans Affairs will open a Veterans Resource Center in the Beaumont Public Library at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
“Veterans Resource Centers connect veterans and their families to benefits and services they earned,” said Keith Boylan, CalVet’s deputy secretary for veterans services. “Public libraries are located close to where our veterans live and work, and they are a convenient place for them to learn about state and federal benefits.”

It’s one of five such centers opening this month in public libraries statewide, bringing to 33 the number of resource centers in California, officials said.
