Stopped Train Jams Beaumont Traffic, Again
The train was moved after causing delays for motorists.

BEAUMONT, CA — A freight train that stopped along its tracks Friday in Beaumont backed up traffic in the city — again — before it was moved.
The Beaumont Police Department reported the incident around 1 p.m. and said the train blocked the crossing at California Avenue and Veile Avenue. Traffic was held up from Highway 79.
Police advised the public to avoid the area and city crews were working to direct traffic away from the stopped train.

Railroad crews responded to the scene at around 2:30 p.m. and moved the train from blocking the crossings within 15 minutes.
