Students from Banning and Beaumont Make Deans' List at Azusa Pacific University

Lindsey R. Howard of Banning and Tandell C. Hlavaty of Beaumont made the academic Deans' List for spring semester 2011, a spokeswoman for the school said.

Two students from Banning and Beaumont made the Deans' List during their spring semester at Azusa Pacific University, a school spokeswoman announced Tuesday.

Mathematics major Lindsey R. Howard, of Banning, and Youth Ministries major Tandell C. Hlavaty, of Beaumont, were recognized for a spring semester 2011 academic standing of 3.5 or better grade-point average, a spokeswoman said.

Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical, Christian university committed to "God First" and excellence in higher education, school officials said.

The university offers more than 9,200 students a quality education on campus, on-line, and at seven regional centers throughout Southern California, according to school officials.
