
BANNING, CA — An abandoned commercial building in Banning caught fire Sunday, and two people were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The fire was reported at 9:17 a.m. near Lincoln and Fourth Streets, and was contained by firefighters about a half hour later, said Tawny Cabral of the Riverside County Fire Department.
Cabral said none of the injured were firefighters, and it was not clear how the people were hurt.
