I'm asking dear lord, is it ever gunna change?

Materialistic things got me guilty and ashamed.

We out here coppin chains, lookin fresh, hoppin trains, while people across the globe drinkin water out some drains.

I've gone insane, the prophesy's in my veins, tryna seek fortune and fame with the talents I obtain.

Victory is pain, but still that's all that I gain, and I promise ima make it, I'm puttin that on my grave.

I put that on a slave who's only life that he gave, has inspired me to save by steppin up on this stage and spittin out my soul and all the knowledge I hold, hoping somebody will hear me because I know I'm not alone.

All I'm tryna do is make a difference.

Don't think I talk because I don't think anyone will listen.

Listen to my words, capture what I say, appreciate your every breath hope for better days.
