Varsity Broncos Surge in 4th Quarter But Still Fall to Rubidoux, 30-16, in Banning

Banning scored 16 unanswered points late, but the rally fell short as the Rubidoux Falcons prevailed Friday night on Broncos Field. Banning fell to 0-6 on the season.

Banning High Broncos varsity football looked like the better team in the fourth quarter Friday night against Rubidoux, scoring 16 straight points to close the scoring gap against the visiting Falcons.

But the Broncos had already spotted Rubidoux 30 points, and the late surge was not enough as Banning lost 30-16 and fell to 0-6 on the season.

Broncos supporters never stopped cheering though, and the fourth quarter rally gave varsity players, coaches and staff something positive to build when they prepare for their next game, Oct. 21 vs. Notre Dame High in Banning.
