INLAND EMPIRE, CA — Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to visit the city of San Bernardino on Friday as part of a tour "to discuss how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will benefit communities around the country."

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack is slated to join her during the trip.

The visit marks the vice president's second trip to the Inland Empire since taking office in Jan. 2021. In October, Harris spent a night in the Coachella Valley on a private visit.

ā€œI think it’s great that Vice President Harris is visiting the Inland Empire, it’s just too bad she’s not planning to get a first-hand look at how Californians are suffering under the many crises that have grown worse under the Biden Administration," he said in a released statement.

Calvert said the "crises" include high gas prices, border issues, backlogs at Southern California ports, and crime.
