What happened to the Online Reporting System Request Partners

A new system is in place that is powered by no other than Lloyd White employer ESRI. Do we have another Conflict of Interest

The city use to have an online reporting system called Request Partners. It was a good system; you could load photos to the site to show what the problem was. You didn’t have to go to several different sites on the city website in order to report a problem. You could use it to report needed street maintenance, code enforcement issues and other issues with the city. You would get a case number and an email response. You could also track you requests and responses online. It was tool that helps the code enforcement and street department to let them be aware of problems in the city.

I made a request back in May of this year, to have someone get a trailer off of the street that was unhitched, with wooden pallets on it and on the street. It had been on the street for sometime as it had cobwebs on it. On June 30th, I received an email from Rebecca Deming listed below

I went to the ask Beaumont website. Instead of a one stop system they had several different ways you had to use to report a problem. If it was a Public Works issue they had a new reporting system. I used it, and I got a report number but I couldn’t upload a photo. I went to the Police Department System and I entered the information and it wouldn’t send. I noticed that the new system was powered by none other than our Mayor Lloyd White employer ESRI.

My question, why did we get rid of the system we had when it was working. Who authorized the new systems, especially who brought on the ESRI system?

Do we have another conflict interest here?

Did Lloyd White vote to approve this new system?

I think our Mayor owes us an explanation on this matter.
