What Time is Tonight's Mega Millions Drawing?

Is tonight the night that you'll change it all and win the Mega Millions' whopping $540 million jackpot? Well, it's almost time to find out.
If you're looking to buy a ticket-- you still have a little more time.
Draws take place every Tuesday and Friday about 15 minutes after draw entry, or ticket sales, closes at 7:45 p.m. PST, according to California lottery officials.

Earlier in the week, the jackpot was estimated at $508 million, but a surge in ticket sales has spiked it to $540 million, the Mega Millions website indicates. Even before that uptick, the jackpot was well within the Top 10 most valuable U.S. jackpots of all time.
The California Lottery was expecting brisk sales today. Early numbers indicated some 11 million tickets had been sold since Tuesday.

Odds of winning the jackpot are one in 258,890,850, according to Mega Millions.
Mega Millions is played in 44 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia.
