What's Open, Closed for Independence Day Weekend
Federal, state and county offices are closed in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. Public transits will be on a holiday schedule.

Federal, state, county and local offices will be closed Friday in observance of Independence Day.
With July 4 on a weekend, Friday is the designated holiday.

In Riverside County, the closures will include administrative offices, schools and colleges, libraries and recreation centers. Most libraries will also be closed Saturday.
However, there will be no change in the trash collection routes for the city of Riverside, Burtec, C&R and Waste Management of the Inland Empire.

On Saturday, Riverside Transit Agency and Dial-A-Ride will operate on a Sunday schedule. Metrolink trains will have limited service Saturday.
There also will be no mail delivery Saturday.
