Coroner IDs Lake Perris Jet Ski Crash Victim

After the crash, a boater pulled the two victims out of the water, and rangers performed CPR, but a 34-year-old woman died.

LAKE PERRIS, CA — Two Jet Ski personal watercraft riders collided in a deadly incident at a Riverside County lake Wednesday.

The Riverside County Coroner's Bureau identified Paulina Guerrero, 34, of Highland, as the victim of the crash following notification of next of kin.

Shortly before 2:15 p.m., 911 callers relayed that two watercraft struck one another while motoring across Lake Perris. Two victims, one from each craft, were pulled from the water into a nearby boat by a good Samaritan, according to Lake Perris State Recreation Officer John Rowe.
