Woman Found Dead Following Hemet Domestic Disturbance Call
Koron LeKeith Lowe, 24, was described by Hemet police as "a person of interest" in the case.

HEMET, CA — A woman who was found dead Tuesday inside a Hemet home following reports of gunfire in the area has been identified by the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau.
The body of Asasha Lache Hall, 30, of Hemet was found with gunshot wounds on the bottom floor of a home in the 3000 block of Greengable Lane. Hemet police had been called to the scene around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday following reports of shots fired.
In addition to calls from neighbors, a woman hiding inside the two-story Greengable Lane home with two young children confirmed to a 911 dispatcher that shots were fired. Two other adults at the residence fled through a garage door "when they heard a disturbance followed by gunshots," Hemet police reported.

SWAT officers were called because it was unknown whether a shooting suspect was inside the home. Neighboring residents were evacuated while the tactical team entered the Greengable Lanehouse and searched it. Other than Hall's body, no one else was found.
Once the scene was deemed safe, neighbors were allowed back into their homes although crime scene investigators worked for hours processing evidence.
During the investigation, detectives determined that five adults and two children lived in the house together. Two other adults were also visiting the home Tuesday morning. Police did not disclose the relationships, if any, of the people.
Prior to the gunfire, one of the residents, Koron LeKeith Lowe, 24, "began causing a disturbance and arguing with the other adults," according to Hemet police.
During the argument, shots were fired and Hall was struck by bullets.
Lowe fled the area prior to police arrival. A handgun was found at the scene, according to police.
Hemet police described Lowe as "a person of interest" in the case. No other information about him was provided.
As of Wednesday morning, Hemet police had not announced any arrests, and Lowe was not listed in Riverside County jail booking records.
"If you know the whereabouts of Lowe, do not approach him and call 911," police said Tuesday. "Witnesses are urged to contact Sergeant Gabe Gomez at 951-765-2396 or ggomez@hemetca.gov."
Besides Hall, no other injuries were reported.
