• Copper Wire Theft Investigation Leads To Three Arrests In Barstow (vvng.com) — Three people were arrested in Barstow after a sheriff’s deputy found them near smoldering copper wire and discovered additional wiring in their vehicle, later confirmed as belonging to Frontier Communications. Authorities say copper thefts can disrupt service for residents and businesses, and Barstow Sheriff’s Station is urging locals to report any suspicious activity to help prevent further incidents. 
• Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash Results in Two out of Three Airlifted to Hospital (paininthepass.info) — A serious rollover crash on Highway 247 in Barstow sent two of three people by air ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center, with the third taken by ground to a local hospital. The Audi rolled about 50 feet off the roadway, and CHP’s Barstow office is investigating while officials have not yet released the victims’ conditions.
