CA State Parks Approves Beaumont's Next Phase Of Stewart Park (patch.com) — Beaumont has secured state approval to move forward with the next phase of the Stewart Park revitalization, keeping a $2.5 million federal grant on track. Work will soon resume on major upgrades like new playgrounds, a splash pad, trails, and a bandshell, bringing once-in-a-generation improvements to the city’s historic downtown gathering place while limiting costs to local taxpayers.
