• Beaumont Parolee To Stand Trial In 2015 Indio Shooting Death After Decade Of Delays (patch.com) — A Beaumont resident on parole is finally heading to trial this week in Riverside County, accused of a 2015 fatal shooting in Indio after a crash involving his Porsche SUV. Jurors have been seated in the long-delayed murder case, which includes additional firearm and spousal abuse allegations, and opening statements are set for Thursday at the Larson Justice Center.
   

• RivCo Online Seller Robbed At Gunpoint, Beaumont Man, 19, Arrested: Police (patch.com) — A 19-year-old Beaumont man was arrested after police say an in-person watch sale arranged online in Banning turned into an armed robbery. Officers later found the stolen watch, a gun, cash and other watches, and are urging residents around Beaumont and Banning to only meet buyers or sellers in well-lit, camera-monitored public places, preferably at a police station.
