Belmont Offices Closed Through New Year
Several Belmont services will be closed until next week.

BELMONT, CA — If you're looking to conduct any business with the city of Belmont's administrative staff, you'll have to wait until 2018. All admin offices are closed from Monday through Jan. 1, according to city officials.
According to the city of Belmont, the following offices are completely closed through next Monday:
- City Clerk
- City Manager
- Community Development
- Finance (including business licenses)
- Human Resources
- Information Technology
- Permit Center (including building inspections)
- Recreation Administration
- Public Works Administration
All police, fire and emergency services are fully operational. Call 911 if you need emergency assistance in town. For non-emergency police matters, officials say to call 595-7400.

"The Belmont Senior and Community Center and Belmont Community Learning Center (childcare) will also be closed during this period," the city said in a news release. "Emergency Contact Information for other city departments is available through the Police Dispatch at 595-7400."
