Disney Digital Books Now Offered at San Mateo County Libraries
Library patrons can browse, checkout, and download titles on their computer.
The Peninsula Library System has expanded its digital book collection with the addition of nearly 700 Disney Digital Online Books.
Disney Online Books can be read on both Windows and Mac platforms.

Titles offer interactive features such as a “magicpen” that pronounces words with just one click, and the ability to look up word definitions.
Users will recognize familiar Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Disney Princesses, Hanna Montana, and many more.

Library patrons can browse, checkout, and download titles on their computer.
Disney EPUB eBooks, along with the rest of the eBook collection, can be transferred to a compatible eBook reader such as the Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook or Sony Reader.
To check out both types of Disney Digital Books, users need a valid Peninsula Library System card, computer, and Internet connection.
At the end of the lending period, titles automatically expire and are returned to the collection.
The Peninsula Library System includes libraries in Belmont, Pacifica, Burlingame, Daly City, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Bruno, San Mateo and South San Francisco.
Also included are campus libraries at Skyline College, College of San Mateo and Canada College.
