Prescription Drug Take-Back Event Announced For Redwood City: Police
The community initiative encourages residents to safely dispose of unused medications while reducing risks to public health.
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — The Redwood City Police Department will host a prescription drug take-back event on Monday, inviting residents to safely dispose of unwanted or expired medications.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Redwood City Police Department Substation, located at 1035 El Camino Real across from See's Candies.
Police officials said the event is intended to help prevent prescription drug misuse, improve home safety and protect the environment by providing a secure way to dispose of medications that are no longer needed.
