Alzheimer’s Futurist Explains How World Can Cope with the Epidemic To Speak, Sign Books in Menlo Park

Providing meaningful roles in society, involving children, and embracing a love-based approach are how the world can successfully cope with the soaring numbers of people with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other memory-impairing diseases.  That’s the view of Alzheimer’s futurist Steve Winner, who says care for those with the disease must be elevated care alongside the ongoing efforts to develop prevention and cure measures.  Winner, co-author of newly-published The Silverado Story: A Memory-Care Culture Where Love is Greater than Fear, will speak and sign copies of the book at 3 p.m, Saturday, February 26, at Kepler’s Books, 1010 El Camino Real, Menlo Park.
