Kidizens Teacher Open House -CANCELLED

Discussion of Project-Based Learning Approaches in a Classroom Monday, February 8th 2016, 3:45 – 5:30pm

This is an exciting opportunity for you to get together with other teachers in the Palo Alto, Los Altos and Mountain View school districts and talk about project-based learning approaches in your classrooms. We will discuss the newly accepted collaborative models of hands-on learning and ways Kidizens incorporates experiential learning/teaching philosophies into its program.
Kidizens uniquely teaches real-life lessons and day-to-day civic and economic concepts in a social, fun, highly immersive and engaging learning environment, where children build cities using LEGOs over 35 weeks, “live” in them, and role-play as responsible city council members to solve problems for their cities and communities, thereby experientially learning (by building and experiencing) how societies form and evolve. Our program content addresses many California educational standards as well some of the recently adopted common core standards!

The Kidizens team will be honored to have your presence at this free “Wine & Cheese” event at our Los Altos location on Monday, Feb 8th, 2016 at 4546 El Camino Real, Suite B9, from 3:45pm to 5:30pm. Please RSVP by emailing info@kidzzinc.com
