Suspect Slams Into Patrol Car in Silicon Valley While Driving Stolen Vehicle: Police

BREAKING: The suspect is still on the loose following the crash, police say.

CUPERTINO, CA -- Santa Clara County sheriff's deputies are trying to identify and apprehend a suspect who allegedly hit a patrol vehicle in Cupertino while driving a stolen car, sheriff's officials said.

The crash happened at Sterling Boulevard and Barnhart Avenue at around 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Deputies were conducting a high-risk stop when the suspect allegedly hit the patrol car in the stolen 2016 white Ford Flex, sheriff's Sgt. Rich Glennon said.

No injuries were reported.
