Theater social skills classes for kids

Winter sessions of Friends Play Group and Team Friend still have space available. Friends Play Group is a theater-based social skills program for elementary aged children and begins Saturday January 24 at Barrett Community Center in Belmont from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Team Friend is geared for middle school students and begins Thursday January 29 at Central Middle School in San Carlos from 4:30 - 5:30 pm. Both classes teach children important skills such as self calming, flexible thinking, accepting criticism, self-advocacy, exploring feelings of shyness, dealing with a bully and so much more.
