LONG BEACH, CA — Authorities Friday identified a young man who was fatally shot in Long Beach.  The victim was discovered about 6:15 a.m. Thursday near the San Gabriel River and Willow Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department.  Nick Cubas, 19, of Downey was pronounced dead at the scene, coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter said.  Anyone with information on the case was urged to call police.— City News Service, photo via Shutterstock
