Free Money Day Saturday: Lemonade

I had to share this email that arrived in my inbox today from The Daily GOOD. I mean, when times are hard you want people to know where they can make... or get... a buck. It's not panhandling if people are looking to give it away, is it? It's sort of like taking a pack of gum at the corner when the gum companies are promoting a new brand.
September 13th was Day 74. I found out that Saturday September 15th is Free Money Day.

The Event
Post Growth Institute invites you... everyone... to participate in Free Money Day. If you would like to be on the giving end, you can sign up with the location of where you will be when you give away Free Money. If you would like to be on the receiving end, you can look up one of the places where Free Money will be given away and get some. It's that easy!

How to Give Away Free Money
As I read it, event holders simply register their event, make a Free Money Day sign, print out some media releases, get permission to hold the event from property owners, and take a bunch of money out of the bank in small bills and coins if desired. Make sure you have a friend or two handy to do videography and to help with crowd control. Then, at the scheduled time on Saturday, start giving! Hand two coins or two notes of the same value to each random stranger you find, and ask them to pass 1/2 of it on to someone else. It's about you sharing and them sharing.
Why Give Money Away
It comes down to this. Once our basic essentials are met - Earning more money does not buy happiness. However, giving it away might.
