Friday, August 19
FELONY SUSPECT ARRESTED – 3200 block of Poppy Street –
11:00 a.m. Patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting and discovered the suspect had just fled in a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and took the suspect into custody. No one was injured during the shooting. -- Council District 9
FELONY SUSPECTS ARRESTED – Anaheim Street and Loma Avenue – 12:30 p.m. Two male adult suspects used bodily force to remove personal property from a female victim. With the assistance of the victim, officers were able to locate and arrest three suspects. The victim’s loss was returned to her and no one was injured. -- Council District 4

ROBBERY – 28th Street and Eucalyptus Avenue – 2:00 p.m. A male adult suspect robbed a female victim at knifepoint. The suspect fled with the loss and the victim was not injured. The investigation is ongoing. -- Council District 7

BURGLARY – 1300 block of East 52nd Street – 2:30 a.m. A juvenile subject was arrested for residential burglary after a witness spotted him breaking into a private residence. The investigation is continuing. -- Council District 8
Sunday, August 21
TRAFFIC COLLISION – 3000 block of Bellflower Boulevard – 1:00 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a traffic accident. When officers arrived, they discovered a single vehicle had crashed into the front of a local business. The driver fled the scene prior to the police arriving. The investigation is ongoing. -- Council District 5
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT – Los Coyotes Diagonal and Ximeno Avenue – 1:30 a.m. A patrol officer was involved in a traffic accident with another vehicle. The officer was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury. The investigation is ongoing. -- Council District 4
FELONY SUSPECT ARRESTED – 2300 block of San Anseline Avenue – 2:00 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a commercial burglary that had just occurred. After a thorough search, officers located the male adult suspect in the nearby neighborhood and took him into custody. -- Council District 4
RESCUE – 28th Street and Santa Fe Avenue – 3:30 a.m. A patrol officer discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a tree and caught fire. The officer pulled an adult woman out of the driver’s seat to safety. The woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. -- Council District 7
ASSAULT – 1300 block of Walnut Avenue – 4:00 a.m. A male adult was stabbed in the upper torso following a verbal confrontation with another male adult. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing. -- Council District 6
ASSAULT – 10th Street and Maine Avenue – 9:00 p.m. A dispute between two adult men led to one stabbing the other in the upper body. The victim was treated at the scene by the Long Beach Fire Department. The investigation is ongoing. -- Council District 1
ROBBERY – 55th Street and Atlantic Avenue – 10:00 p.m. Three male suspects robbed two male victims at gunpoint. The victims were forced to give up their personal property before the suspects fled on foot. The investigation is ongoing. -- Council District 8
Monday, August 22
ASSAULT – 2000 block of East 15th Street – 12:30 a.m. Patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a male victim shot in the upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. The investigation is continuing. -- Council District 4
