Photo with An Astronaut

Photos with astronauts are in high demand. Here's how I got mine.

I'm playing a game, and it's taking me places. Last Friday it took me to Cross Campus's Pasadena location to check out the NASA/JPL Women in Data Boot Camp.

You can read about the day in my post about the day's events.

At the end of the day, I wanted to take a photo with astronaut Doug Wheelock, who is a great speaker with some really great stories of his time in space.

Photo 1: The day is over, but everyone is crowding around Doug... I'll take a selfie just in case.

Photo 2: A bystander notices my problem, and offers to take a photo.

Photo 3: And another. Getting better.

Photo 4: The group of organizers and presenters of the day.

Photo 5: Microsoft Evangelist Adam Tuliper was there. He was also seeking the elusive photo. In a loud voice "Hey Adam, Do you want me to take a photo of you with Doug?" Quick response... "Sure".

Photo 6: Very quickly.... "Now you take mine."

Voila! Photo with an astronaut.
