Community Corner
Thank You! Justin Rudd, Suzie Price and Nick Adams!
The 2nd annual Long Beach Touch a Truck event brought 100 trucks and 10K persons out to the Granada Beach parking lot. I was there..
I'm playing a game, and it's taking me places. I was at the Long Beach Touch a Truck event, the largest of its' kind!
100 trucks! That's a tall order! But somehow the power combo of Community Activist Justin Rudd and 3rd District City Councilwoman Suzie Price brought in that many trucks to the Touch a Truck event.
For those not aware of this truck fan event, Touch a Truck events bring out trucks of all varieties! There's only one requirement: that you have to be a truck. I arrived hungry and sans wallet, so the photos of edibles were taken at the stations that helped me to keep going...

I'm posting a video that includes photos of all the trucks at the event, including Suzie Price's ride in the bucket lift that kicked off the event, and my ride near the end of the day thanks to Friend Nick Adams.

I'd like to award the Lemonade Game Medal... when I eventually make one... to Nick Adams, who provided free rides in his bucket lift (or whatever you call it) that is used when his company installs Christmas Lights all over Long Beach and surroundings... and other contracts with his bucket lift throughout the year. You see, the event ended and Nick was still going. He'd finally cut the line off, but all those folks who had waited so long.... Well, Nick couldn't let them down. After all, it's Christmas Nick! St. Nick's.
