2 Deaths Confirmed In Vallejo Nursing Home Coronavirus Outbreak
Nearly 100 people — 76 residents and 23 health care workers— had tested positive for the virus as of Monday at the Solano County care home.
VALLEJO, CA — Solano County public health officials confirmed that two of six coronavirus-related deaths in the county were residents at a Vallejo skilled nursing and rehabilitation center where 99 people have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Both residents who died were older than 65 and were receiving hospice — end-of-life — care at Windsor Vallejo Care Center at the time they became infected with the virus, Solano County Public Health Educator Shai Davis told Patch Tuesday.
Seventy-six residents and 23 health care workers have tested positive for the coronavirus in the outbreak at Windsor Vallejo Care Center, 2200 Tuolumne St. in Vallejo, according to Davis.

There were 325 total cases of coronavirus in Solano County as of Tuesday afternoon, with 180 of those in Vallejo, according to the county's COVID-19 webpage.
