2 Sent To Hospital After Their SUV Hit Neighbor's House
The accident was today in Vallejo on Hilltop Drive.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – A Vallejo couple suffered minor injuries when their SUV went down an embankment and struck their next-door neighbor's house this morning, a fire spokesman said.
The 79-year-old driver of the Hummer either overshot his driveway or mistakenly pressed on the gas pedal instead of the brake as he neared his home in the 100 block of Hilltop Drive near Temple Way around 6:20 a.m., Vallejo fire spokesman Kevin Brown said.
The Hummer struck the left corner of the house at the base of a 12- to 15-foot embankment. The couple's neighbor was home at the time and called police, Brown said.

The house was not structurally damaged and the Hummer did not enter the house, Brown said.

A crane will remove the white 4-door SUV from between the house and a retaining wall behind it, Brown said.
