Join host Tamika Bailey for Poetry by the Cup at Moschetti’s Coffee on 6th Street in Vallejo every 1st Saturday from 11 to 1 PM. 

Fairfield Civic Center Library

Experience a unique creative collaboration where poets read their works and artists choose a poem to inspire brand new artwork.Artists will come hear the poems for the first event and choose a poem from which to create an art piece. The second event, artists will bring their art and poets will re-read their poem next to the piece.
Both events will be held at the Fairfield Civic Center Library (1150 Kentucky Street, Fairfield, CA)
Dates are: Saturday, October 3 - 1:00-3:00pm- Poetry Reading Saturday, December 12 - 2:00- 4:00pm- Art Reveal and Poetry ReadingParticipation for poets requires a poem of 39 lines or less, with a deadline to send your name and poem title to Suzanne Bruce, Fairfield Poet Laureate Emerita, by September 30th at <code>fairfieldpoetlaureate.emerita@gmail.com</code>

<h2>8th Annual Bay Front Run&nbsp;</h2>
JOIN US ON THE BEAUTIFUL BAY FRONT TRAIL IN HERCULES for the 8th Annual Bay Front Run to support our local schools!
5K, 10K &amp; 1 Mile Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run. All participants in person &amp; virtual registered by 9/15 will receive an event t-shirt. The first 350 to register will receive a finisher medal. The race will begin and end at Bayfront Blvd in Hercules. Run along the Bay Front Trail where you can expect beautiful views and a gentle breeze.
