Rush Ranch stretches across 2,000 acres of marsh and rolling grassland on the northeast edge of the Suisun Marsh. Rush Ranch is owned and operated by Solano Land Trust. The Land Trust offers recreational and educational opportunities to thousands of visitors each year. The Ranch is open to the public daily with several miles of self-guided hiking trails and interactive educational exhibits in the Nature Center. Getting the Rush takes place on the third Saturday of each month, and it is made possible by the volunteers of Rush Ranch Educational Council and Access Adventure.
From Highway 12 in Suisun City, head south on Grizzly Island Road for about two miles. A sign and wide entrance gate are on the right.
Note that dogs are allowed on only one trail at Rush Ranch – the Suisun Hill Trail, across Grizzly Island Road from the ranch entrance. (Suisun Hill Trail is east of Grizzly Island Road, whereas Rush Ranch entrance, courtyard and other trails are west of Grizzly Island Road). Dogs must be on leashes at all times.
